Your result is personal. The defaults should respect that.
This page explains what the product stores, what a private result link means, and where you have a choice.
Assessment answers
Your in-progress answers are stored in your browser so you can continue after a refresh. They are submitted to Spectrum HD only when the product creates an encrypted private result link or when an event is required to operate a feature you choose.
Private result links
New result links contain an encrypted version of the answers needed to reconstruct your reading. The pages are excluded from search indexing. Anyone who has the complete link can still view the result, so treat it like a private document link.
If you ask Spectrum HD to email your result, the address is used to deliver that message. Product updates require a separate opt-in. The two permissions are not bundled.
Measurement
Spectrum HD measures product events such as starting or completing a map, opening a result, and using a share control. Assessment answers are not attached to those event names. Performance analytics may also collect standard technical information such as page, device, and browser type.
Control
You can remove in-progress answers and device-saved results by clearing site data in your browser. For a privacy question or deletion request involving an email you submitted, use the contact page.
